赵朴初（行书）《灵山大佛赞》（轴）

无锡市政府在灵山祥符寺遗址重建寺院并修建大佛。赵朴初定义其为“五方五佛”中的东方大佛，是目前世界上最高的露天青铜释迦佛像。1997年赵朴初参加开光法会并书此赞，时年91岁。书法雍容端庄，笔力遒劲，墨色丰润。

Paean to the Grand Buddha at Mt. Ling Running script; hanging scroll By Zhao Puchu Modem

The Wuxi Municipality had the Xiangfu Temple at Mt Ling reconstructed along with the statue of Grand Buddha, which is the Buddha of the East among the Five Giant Buddhas, as defined by Zhao Puchu. It is the tallest, outdoor bronze statue of Gautama Buddha in the world, Zhao wrote this paean at the age of ninety-one in 1997

when attending the Dharma service held for its inauguration. His calligraphy, being graceful and dignified, is manifested in good brush strength and moist black-ink strokes.

《灵山大佛》七律一首：“湖光万顷净琉璃，返照灵山正遍知。身与云齐施法雨，目垂海众示深慈。从兹圣迹留无锡，随顺群情遇盛时。喜见朋来师子国，和平世界共心期。
