纽约杂志评选出50个最适宜居住的区域

1. Park Slope
15th St. to Flatbush Ave., Prospect Park West to Fourth Ave.

多元的文化氛围，低犯罪率的居住环境，良好的学区还有各式各样的酒吧和餐厅，这里处处充满了曼哈顿风情，而相似的环境在上东城就要昂贵许多。2室一厅的房子平均月租为$2275.



2. Lower East Side Canal St. to Houston St., East River to Bowery
这里是喜爱夜生活人的天堂，充满活力和激情。各式各样的酒吧，餐厅，商店，这个区域的年龄层较为低，是年轻朋友喜爱的居住区域。2室一厅的房子月租大概在2300美金。但这个区域也有明显的缺陷就是噪音太大。

这个区域是纽约城了一个隐藏已久的宝玉。它位于皇后区。是一个安全，安静的居住环境。两室一厅的房子平均月租仅$1300,而且乘坐7号地铁到达曼哈顿时代广场只要16分钟，可以说是兼顾了曼哈顿与皇后区的优势。房租比曼哈顿便宜，却也有中上的学区，唯一欠缺的是没有曼哈顿精彩的夜生活和豪华的餐厅。



就各方面的条件而言。cobble hill与布鲁克林高地差不多。但这个区域比布鲁克林高地更靠近曼哈顿，而且平均月租也要便宜200，300美金。漂亮的19世纪公寓建筑是一大特色。

5. Greenpoint
N. 14th St./Nassau Ave./McGuiness Blvd. to Newtown Creek, Newtown Creek to East River

Greenpoint有很多纽约市最好的公立学校，学校的平均成绩和家长满意度都很高。而且比威廉斯堡的房价便宜。但也有一些缺点：比如它的零售店很分散，公园不多，地下石油泄漏事件影响至今，30年后仍然在清理。但只要你不去Newtown Creek游泳，这里也不失为一个养儿育女的好地方。



6. Brooklyn Heights

尽管布鲁克林高地是一个居住成本较高的地方。但仍然是很多人的首选。为什么呢？上下班的高峰时间，能比岛外其他地方更快的进入曼哈顿中心。新扩建的布鲁克林桥公园，也许是最漂亮的居住地了。整个居住区充满了古典的历史感，加之安全，干净的林荫小道成就了一个舒适的住宅区域。

法拉盛也被评选为适宜纽约人居住的地方。这里主要居住着中国人，韩国人等亚裔。这里有丰富地道的中国美食，还有方便便宜的中国超市，即使你不会英文也不会有任何陌生的感觉。到处都是熟悉的中国商品和浓浓的乡音，比起曼哈顿的中国城，法拉盛更加的干净。这里的高中也很不错，是很多华人的首选。缺点就是离曼哈顿太远。。。

23. Battery Park & Financial District

这里是一个非常安静的高尚住宅区，但缺点是太冷漠，晚上几乎感觉不到夜生活。

35. Upper East Side 59th St. to 96th St., East River to Fifth Ave. 这里是号称全纽约最安全，环境最优美，房价也最吓人的地方。

36. Upper West Side 59th St. (excluding Columbus Circle) to 110th St., Central Park West to Hudson River 中央公园西侧的高档住宅区可以俯瞰公园全景，可以随时走到第五大道购物，这里是纽约动静结合最完美的地方。但如何你喜欢活跃的市井文化，这里显然太宁静了。
