根据百老汇音乐舞台剧改编的音乐电影《绿野仙踪》(The Wizard Of Oz)

《绿野仙踪》是米高梅公司出品的一部童话故事片。该片改编自莱曼·弗兰克·鲍姆的儿童读物《奇妙的奥兹男巫》，由维克多·弗莱明、金·维多等执导，朱迪·加兰、弗兰克·摩根、雷·博尔格等主演。

影片讲述了美国堪萨斯州小姑娘多萝西被龙卷风带入魔幻世界，在“奥兹国”经历了一系列冒险后最终安然回家的故事。

1939年8月12日该片在美国上映。1998年11月，为纪念《绿野仙踪》问世60周年，经过数字化技术处理的《绿野仙踪》再度上映。2008年，美国电影学院举办十大类型最佳电影评选，该片位列奇幻电影类第一名。

小說《黃磚鋪的路》（road of yellow brick）是李曼·法蘭克·鮑姆所著小說《绿野仙踪》中的元素。是被指點從小人國到尋求大魔术师奥兹幫助所要走的路。
