Free As A Bird（The Beatles）

 1996年度第39届格莱美颁奖典礼上，已经解散近三十年的披头士乐队包揽了格莱美三项大奖，凭借单曲《Free As A Bird》，披头士获得了格莱美最佳流行乐队奖(Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal)，而《Free As A Bird》的音乐录影带，以及音乐录影带《The Beatles Anthology》分别获得了格莱美最佳音乐录影带短片奖(Best Music Video, Short Form)和最佳音乐录影带长片奖(Best Music Video, Long Form)，再次书写了披头士不老的传奇。

无论你听过多少约翰.列农的歌，这首始终是其中极特别的一首。
背景资料：
Free as a bird的demo其实早在70年就完成了.只不过列侬将它束之高阁,从未正式发表.1980年12月8日列侬在纽约遭到一位精神上有问题的歌迷枪击身亡.这首未完成的作品竟然被尘封了数年之久.直到列侬的遗孀大野洋子在一次搬家时无意发现这首歌的母带.于是在1995年,BEATLES剩下的三名成员在批头解散了25年后重新聚在一起,共同完成了列侬的遗作,这首"像鸟儿般自由".并获得了当年的格莱美大奖.在歌中保罗.麦卡特尼这样穿插着唱到:"究竟发生了什么?这是我们熟悉的生活?离开了彼此,我们是否真的能存活?".离开了那永远的草莓地,批头们天各一方.等到再次相聚,竟已天人永隔.无论保罗.麦卡特尼和约翰.列侬这对摇滚史上最杰出的词曲搭档曾经发生过什么不愉快,有过怎样的裂痕,我想在天堂重聚的那一刻,他们都会相视一笑,拿起手中的吉他,再次弹起那传世的旋律......
