Fun.是一支来自美国纽约的独立流行乐队，现任乐队成员有吉他手Andrew Dost，键盘手Jack Anton off和乐队主唱Nate Ruess三人。
主唱Nate Ruess擅长各种高音，而且该乐队曲风多变，由复古到小清新，配合各种乐器，着实让耳朵沉醉。
其首张专辑《Aim and Ignite》于2009年8月25日发行，第二张录音室专辑《Some Nights》发行于2012年2月21日，收录于该专辑中的单曲"We Are Young"在去年底被glee翻唱而首次跳入大众眼中，而在今年格莱美过后，该单曲连续两周在itunes数字下载榜上登顶，并在Billboard单曲榜上取得最高第一名的好成绩。
简单的说，《We Are Young》就是一首充满正能量和积极意义的励志歌曲。也难怪它常常被许多美剧拿来做配乐歌曲，它高昂的情调和戏剧化的张力，也让这首歌曲既有丰富的听觉震撼力，也有许多独立乐团最为缺乏的精气神。听这首歌曲，就像当年听Queen的《We Will Rock You》或者《We Are the Champions》。
《We Are Young》这首单曲由乐队主唱Nate Ruess和他们《Some Nights》的制作人Jeff Bhasker共同创作完成。而这首作品的女声演绎，则来自于另一位出生于堪萨斯的黑人女歌手Janelle Monae。
歌曲的创作可以追溯到2011年2月。某日，Nate Ruess和Jeff Bhasker相约于纽约东城Bowery酒店的酒巴，商谈音乐事宜。而为了这次会面，Nate Ruess已经是第三次相约，前两次则都被Jeff Bhasker放了鸽子。而这一次，Jeff Bhasker在和Beyonce完成工作后，终于匆匆赶来和Nate Ruess相见，但只提供了十分钟的会谈时间。不过，Nate Ruess关于将流行和嘻哈融合的创作想法，却很快引起了他的注意。之后，Nate Ruess将Jeff Bhasker请到了自己的客房，向他亲自演示了这种想法的成果，即流行、嘻哈和电子融合的效果，而主旋律部分，甚至还有一些Beyonce作品的线条。第二天，Jeff Bhasker就把Nate Ruess请到了他纽约的工作室。并最终完成了这首歌曲的母带。[1]
