他的眼光仿佛常躲在耷拉地眼皮下面，仿佛陷入沉思，时而醒转，仿佛穿透观众和舞台，看到了自己年轻时的风光与荣耀，作为黑手党在好莱坞的小太保，拥有自己的唱片公司，在自己的赌场里和朋友们花天酒地，与肯尼迪称兄道弟的黄金岁月。
而好日子一去不复返，随着时间流逝，Sinatra越老他唱这首歌也越让人觉得沧桑感伤，我猜他越来越不想唱这首为自己量身定做的这首代表作了。

他已经明显老朽了，苍老虚弱，必须倚靠着一把高脚凳，无法独立站着演唱了。
