少女时代允儿原名太妍，1989年出生在韩国，是韩国少女组合少女时代的队长，毕业于全州艺术高等学校，擅长英语、日语、汉语等语言。于2007年8月5日正式登台演出，在唱歌、舞蹈、演戏、主持等方面都达到了很高的水平。
2008年，主演情感剧《你是我的命运》获得第45届百想艺术大赏电视剧类最佳新人女演员奖和人气女演员奖 。2009年，主演励志爱情剧《乞丐变王子》，凭借该剧获得第46届韩国百想艺术大赏电视剧类人气女演员奖 。2010年，加入SBS电视台综艺节目《家族诞生2》并担任固定主持人。
主要作品有个人歌曲《You bring me joy》 with The One、《像星星一样》with The One、MV Super Junior《seoul songde》等。
