洛基山高 Rocky Mountain High (约翰·丹佛)

 

  歌曲《洛基山高》(Rocky Mountain High)是约翰·丹佛(John Denver)和麦克·泰勒(Mike Taylor)写的一首关于美国科罗拉多州的民谣摇滚歌曲, 后来成为一首科罗拉多州的官方州歌。上了美国流行音乐排行榜(排行#9)。

 

   《洛基山高》歌曲的主要灵感来自于约翰·丹佛搬迁到科罗拉多州的阿斯彭(Aspen), 他爱上了科罗拉多州。这首歌被认为是20世纪70年代流行文化的重要部分，并成为科罗拉多州相关历史的重要部分。

 

   这首歌发行后不久成为了争议。由于在歌中对并不高的洛基山的"HIGH"的应用被当年的美国联邦沟通委员会(U.S. Federal Communications Commission)审查怀疑为促进毒品滥用的音乐。许多广播电台不敢使用这首歌。丹佛不得不在国会听证会公开解释说“HIGH”完全是他认为落基山脉的原因:

  2007年3月12日，科罗拉多州决定《洛基山高》成为一首科罗拉多州的官方州歌。总部设在科罗拉多州的库尔斯(Coors)啤酒的广告中还使用了这首歌。

 

   在2000年的驚慄电影《死神來了》(Final Destination)的飞机是要失事时用了这首歌。这是因为约翰·丹佛自己于1997年死于飞机失事。

 

   为纪念约翰·丹佛, 阿斯彭附近的斯诺马斯滑雪胜地命名为“Rocky Mountain High”。据说很多人在被约翰·丹佛的《洛基山高》感染下, 搬迁到科罗拉多州。
