偶然与必然—《The Last Farewell最后的永别》

     英国著名的民谣歌手、音乐人Roger Whittaker 与一起合作的吉他手Chet Atkins 在1974年现场演唱了这首《The Last Farewell》，当时这支曲子并未引起关注。据说此曲胜出是一个偶然，当时这支歌曲与一支胜出的歌曲《Why》同时收集在一个专辑中，5年后在亚特兰大一位女士在当地电台点播了这首歌曲，其后竟成为当地电台点播最多的歌曲，并且在数周内成为全球的热门曲目，在11个国家的排行榜上占首位，在全球售出了1100多万张的唱片。
