儿歌—Little Bo Peep

     演唱版本真多，不过蓝调风格的第一首我还是蛮喜欢的。克制自己的倾向，第一幅图没有选太性感的，不过还是比较现代的配图。

     The Little Bo Peep描绘了一幅过来人指导牧羊女的景象! 由羊羔叫声和小绵羊引出Little Bo Peep这个名字，歌词没有什么相关的历史事件或是什么特别意思。歌词讲诉因睡觉丢失绵阳的责任与如何面对结果.....歌词十分轻快，像espied, hillocks 和 lambkin现在已经很少用了。

       1805年左右的手抄本是最早的版本，内容仅有第一节。莎士比亚《李尔王》(Act I Scene iv)中的场景可证明16世纪就存在被称为"Bo-Peep"的儿童游戏。后面增加的部分首次刊登于1810年出版的《 Gammer Gurton's Garland or The Nursery Parnassus 》。14世纪其短语 "to play bo peep" 用以表示处以直立枷刑（ pillory）。在1364年一位啤酒妇（ ale-wife） Alice Causton因缺斤少两被判处此刑法：, "play bo pepe thorowe a pillery"。
